Mobile Gaming

In respect to the original Brain Games, Pockster Newspaper Games is a collection of 4 of the game types we have all played, now brought to the mobile platform in a convenient package.

The full featured games are adapted to the mobile platform and take advantage of the ever-growing capability of the platform. For example, game state for each game title is saved so that you can easily pick it up where you left it off. Both Landscape and portrait modes are supported, as well as the popular square screen devices. In the trial version we offer complete functionality (including state save) but limit access to the first 5 puzzle titles of each type for a total of 20 playable puzzles.

Robust device support on both Pocket PC and Smartphone devices is implemented, including Smartphone features such as automatically switching between numeric and text input modes. Another optimization example is in the game crosswords, which for smartphone minimizes the screen element count allowing quick manipulation via the device keys.
